Hey Ogden, what's up?? Love your pictures as always. Question, are you still using the same camera I have? If so, how did you get the shutter to stay open for 2-3 min? I'm having difficulty tricking it into anything longer than 30 seconds... it keeps flashing "bulb" when I try to get it longer than that.

Thoughts?

Hope cali is rocking your socks.

Hi Ellie! When the camera is on the "bulb" setting, you can hold down the shutter button as long as you like. I jury-rigged a way to hold the button down with a rubber band, but there's also triggers you can buy that work much better.

The noise is pretty bad with the Rebel though. The best shots I got were 30-second exposures with a wide aperature (f2.8). I tried one 15 minute shot, but it turned out way too noisy. Good luck!
