SUMMERTIME      Nov 27, 2005

So another summer (and a good chunk of autumn for that matter) has come and past. It's the time of the year when I'm happy if the daytime high is above freezing. But maybe this selection of summer photos will take some of that winter chill off...

As is the tradition, I made it out to California for the annual 4th of July family picnic. It's always a wonderful time with the extended family. I hope you enjoy the photos of California-livin' along with some pics of the surrounding redwoods.

My old roommate, Josh, also has a yearly get- together up at his cabin. I've been a few times and it's always a blast and this year was no different. I've posted a handful of shots from that fun weekend.

Back in Madison, I took a trip over to Olbrich gardens one afternoon for a butterfly exhibit and ended up with a handful of abstract plant photos. I know, that doesn't sound too exciting, but give it a chance - I think you'll like them.
